Ultraviolet Air Sanitizer – Kill bacteria/viruses and prevent flu

By | June 10, 2015

When in Spring and Summer, viruses breed very fast and we need to take something to prevent them for our health, especially for the families with babies and/or pets. Babies and pets are usually the week ones we need to take more cares.

Ethanol for disinfection and ultraviolet light are the two ways we use very often as sanitizers. But Ethanol is usually as rubbing alcohol and temporary. And I found a product with a UV bolb inside a sealed plastic shell could keep your room disinfected for a lasting long time and it’s safe.

A ultraviolet light bulb exposed in the room is effective to eliminate the bacteria and viruses, but people should hide away when the light is turned on because UV sanitizer adopts UV C wave range that can be harmful to bacteria and viruses but also harmful to human skin. A “naked” ultraviolet light bulb is not convenient and even dangerous if you don’t handle it properly. GermGuardian Pluggable UV-C Air Sanitizer is a small plastic chamber with a 3.5W ultraviolet light bulb installed inside. There’s a small fan constantly intakes air and irradiates bacteria/viruses within the chamber. It can run a long time and cycles disinfecting the air in your room,  you don’t need to hide because the UV doesn’t leak outside the sealed chamber shell. Some users reported that after running the UV sanitizer one or two hours later, the bad smell disappeared in the toilet room, baby’s rooms with used diapers or the pets’ area. That’s because the bacteria causing bad odor were killed by ultraviolet light. So you see the viruses causing flu would be killed at the same time!

I have bought two sets of GermGuardian Pluggable UV-C Air Sanitizer, then really work and are very effective!
